Ab-Sorption 96 International Heat Pump Conference (Montréal, Canada, 1996)

Overview

Venue and Date

The Ab-Sorption Heat Pump Conference '96 will be held at Le Centre Sheraton in Montréal, Québec, Canada; from Tuesday September 17 to Friday September 20, 1996.

Purpose

The conference is designed to bring together international experts and research teams working in the areas of absorption and solid sorption technologies. Moreover, it will provide a forum for constructive exchanges on the application and the diffusion of these technologies.

Background

Following on the success of New Orleans in 1994 (absorption) and of Paris in 1992 (solid sorption), Ab-Sorption '96 will mark the merging of these two conferences into a single international event. This will maximize exchanges of ideas, benefitting both areas of specialization.

Who Should Attend

This international conference will benefit scientists, engineers, research and development managers, architects, environmental analysts, HVAC plant managers and policy makers.

Structure

The conference will consist of over 100 presentations of technical papers during plenary and parallel sessions, with representatives coming from over twenty countries.

Language

Conference languages will be English and French, with simultaneous translation available.
